#ULCraftyFox: Look on the Bright Side. Turn Old Jam Jars Into Lovely Chandeliers.

. February 24, 2016 .

Nothing changes the mood of a space quite like the right lighting. So add a little magic to your balcony, terrace, or dining area with your own mason jar (or jam jar) chandeliers. They’re gorgeous and super easy to make.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  1. Mason jars or any glass container with a wide mouth
  2. Jute or nylon wires/twines
  3. A pair of scissors
  4. Tea lights or candles
  5. Long matchsticks

And here’s how you make them:

There you go. Now get cracking already! And once you’re out of candle, simply clean out the wax and reuse the lantern. Pop the jar into the microwave for 20 seconds, pour out any residual wax, and wipe the jar clean with a paper towel. And voila! It’s ready to use again.
