Beautifully handcrafted by craftspeople from the interiors of India, ‘Chirping Love’ is a unique napkin holder, hand carved in sheesham wood, inspired from colourful chirping bird flocks that live together and fly free in the Indian rain forests. The square shaped napkin holder is open from three sides with a thin wood-log hinge to weight the paper napkins in place. Handmade and brightly hand painted in Varanasi, two little wooden birds are placed facing each other on the moving end of the hinge, adding a burst of life to a delicately finished, elegant table accessory with simple utility. In the ancient home healing tradition of feng-shui, two birds together are said to bring love and good fortune into a space.
